- Is it really defective?
The Lynx workshop is equipped with instruments capable of determining if a product is operating to original factory specifications. Our instrument test is highly sensitive and produces a quantifiable report with performance data that isolates the riflescope from all external factors such as weapon related issues, poorly fitted scope mounts, variations in ammunition, shooter-fault and unfavourable range conditions.
- Free instrument test
If you are having problems with your setup you can send your scope in for a free instrument test. If your scope is defective we will fix it, it your scope is not defective we will give you a good idea where you should look to find the source of the problem. The standard Lynx riflescope test confirms that the following aspect are performing to factory specification:
> Point of impact remains consistent under recoil—the recoil force is applied front to back, back to front and laterally
> Windage / elevation controls adjust positively and return to zero consistently throughout the duration of the recoil test
> Point of impact remains consistent at all magnification settings and throughout the parallax adjustment range
> Windage / elevation adjustment range
> Dioptre focus range on the eyepeice
> Accuracy of parallax setting on fixed focus scopes and accuracy of the parallax adjustment mechanism on focusable scopes
